Miniature exhibition

Creativity can’t be measured by the size of the art work. Miniatures have their own place in the world and history of visual arts.

A miniature is a complete art work which is governed by the same general principles as a work of bigger size. However, because of its size, it demands skill and discipline from the artist.

SKETBE has proved in the past the love with which he «embraces» miniature: National Greek Miniature Exhibition, Interbalkanian Miniature Exhibition, group exhibitions in Thessaloniki and participation of members in international miniature exhibitions. Today, proving yet again that there is a historical coherence in the association and a consistency in the pursuit of artistic goals, he holds miniature exhibitions in Thessaloniki, Naousa and Iwannina.

We believe that we can designate the huge artistic value of miniature, instill to the friends of visual arts the love for small (usually "Less is ... more") and we hope that our effort will meet its proper response from Epirus public.
